    “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned.”

One: We come with JOY to worship Almighty God on this Christmas Eve.

All: Our help is found in the Name of the Lord, the Maker and the Redeemer of all the heavens and the earth.

One:  We come to give thanks to God for the gift of Jesus, the Messiah.

All:    With all that is within us we give you thanks and praise, O God Most High. Your gift of salvation and new life through Jesus Christ gives us hope to be your people. Thanks be to God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
