es bleibt gerecht sein Wille;
wie er fängt seine Sachen an,
will ich ihm halten stille.
Er ist mein Gott,
der in der Not
mich wohl weiß zu erhalten;
drum laß ich ihn nur walten.

er führet mich auf rechter Bahn;

1 What God does, that is done well,
his will remains just;
however He directs my affairs,
I will calmly trust in Him.
He is my God, who in times of trouble
knows well how to preserve me;
therefore I simply let Him rule.
